rendered image "situation"

ok does anyone know how to display decals in rendered images? Maybe im doin somethin wrong, or maybe you just cant. screw threads dont as well, which is why i tried to get the question answered in the cosmetic thread post.

keep in mind im using inventor (i dont regret the decision)

That's the downside of Inventor 10, it doesn't render images. However, Inventor 11 will.
