Wow, that pretty bad!

On a side note: when I first saw the title of this thread I immediatly thought bandwidth flooding. I then thought "hmm, who would want to attack the FIRST website?" I guess unfortunately the answer to that would be "Mother Nature."

guess I shouldn't be complaining...

Apparently this wierd pressure system is hanging over our general region, trapped by something in the West and something further East.

I guess I have my answer.

It's kind of funny too in a sense, as we were just discussing the flood of 02 in FIRST's headquarters the weekend if Nats, and the possible relevance to the game the following year.

My theory was that FIRST needed some storage totes to save stuff from the water that was coming in from the floor above them, and then someone was inspired to use those storage containers as game objects.

What will this flood mean for next year's game???
One can only speculate..

Sandbags?

Trust me, if we could I think everyone in New England would send you as much rain as you want right now.

And the outlook does not look good for Manchester. 8 of the 10 days in the ten day forcast indicate some type of rain...

This is really something. Michigan has been getting one heck of a lot of rain too, and the sun won't be peeking through for a good while yet.

If you'd like, I could send you some rain water to drop on something. jk. :yikes:

I first saw this thread's title and thought we were doing a such a good job of spreading the word of FIRST that too many people flooded the FIRST website. I guess that was just wishful thinking. :( oh, well!

I live in New Jersey and we've been getting, and are scheduled for, a lot of rain.

Am I lucky that I live over here! I wouldn't be able to play the watergun games at my birthday party this Friday if we got that much rain...

Hopefully some sun will show and dry the rain in an instant like it does over here in Colorado. :D Please let everyone be safe!

Are you perpetuating the rumor of a 2007 water game? :ahh:

Down the street from the PSNH office where I work, the road was completely overtaken by floods. Dozens of people had to be rescued from a K-Mart parking lot. Route 3A was so bad in Hooksett NH that the whole town was considered "closed" and every route in was blocked off by National Guard Soldiers.

You can pretty much tell from the pictures, New Hampshire is quite a mess right now. I had the opportunity to travel up and down the Merrimack today and everywhere from Manchester to Concord and beyond is spotted with floods.

The fortunate thing is that officials and everyone else did a wonderful job of keeping everyone on their toes and though damage will be pretty extensive, injury and loss of life will be minimal to none. So dont worry...we're all tough cookies up here, we'll pull through!

Uh-oh, this doesn't look good for all of us here in New Jersey. It just started raining this evening. I dearly hope it's not going to get as bad as it is up there! :ahh:

Heh, I also thought that the "flooding" meant bandwidth flooding when I first saw it, too. :p
