I can feel for the folks in Manchester...This was Franklin after Hurricane Floyd came thru in 1999....

And this picture was taken after the water went down some...
btw..Franklin is at least 50 miles from the coast.

what exactly were you looking for? I have a backdoor, hidden version of part of the FIRST website somewhere on my server.

See if you can find what you need from www.archive.org. You should be able to view a fairly recent cache of the site using their Wayback Machine.

Edit: Looks like Mike beat me, but I'll still leave this just incase it is helpful at all.

Might just be me, but the FIRST site is up and running for me now.

So.. at least for this week, can we rename the words of NERD to mean New England Rainy Days?

Or.. How about an event known as the New England Rain Defeat when it finally stops!

My family has called me (I'm from up there) and told me the town roads are in wreck (Derry, 15 mins south of Manchester)... but most homes as far as they can tell are ok. They haven't been to Manchester.. can't get there with a sure way to get home... so she couldn't tell me how bad off they are up there.

I send best wishes to everyone up in the Tri-State Area, including my family. I wish everyone well, and hope the water falls soon.

Not only is the site back up, http://usfirst.org (no www) finally redirects you to the actual page instead of just balking at you!

Glad everything is okay.

I don't know for NH, but here in CT, we just broke out in sunshine among the clouds. Still cold, but it was bright. I hope the same applies for NH.

I like rain, but NOT that much rain.

Still watching the news here in Austin. Sorry it is so bad up there. What you could use right now is an Al Skierkiewicz, 'Good Luck All'. That always makes it a little better.

That is sweet! It took me years to train myself to use the www, and now my conditioning can go extinct!

The rain has been aggravating in CT, but nowhere near as bad as it evidently is in NH. Best wishes to all of you!

Best wishes to everyone caught up in the flooding, I hope all turns out okay... Let's hope the insurance companies pay out and that the damage is not as bad as it looks.

We'd expect it to be raining here in England but we're having a drought at the moment... The weather systems seem to have gone mad in the last year or two.
