Greg:
It creates individual .ipt parts - you can see them listed in the browser on the left - so you can modify them individually after creating the basic frame structure. I haven't played around with it a whole lot yet to see what, if anything, breaks.

Hi folks,

Usage of the Frame Generator will most certainly be well-received by the Inventor Award Judges. That is not to say it is required; some robots would not be well served by the functionality. But by all means, take advantage of it if your design uses frame elements.

I encourage you to see Sean's site (as posted earlier), and also look through the Newsgroup (http://discussion.autodesk.com/forum.jspa?forumID=78) for additional help.

This may require a new thread,

From what I understand of how the service is setup, you can not create an account on the site unless you have an active email account from a college or university on their pilot list, or by requesting a guest account. My school was not on the list, but my guest account was created 2 days after I emailed them. Part of the request was sending them an email from my school email address. I don't know of any further acceptance criteria.

It is decidedly aimed at college students, not high school. So, my guess is that unless you are a college student you won't be able to create an account.
