I would have never believed that if you asked me if my problems that I had to deal with later in life would be harder than the ones around HS age, but it's true.. But, there is hope. As Ed said, be prepared to deal with these things as you grow up, and to take his words a step farther, gain not only the child/parent relationship with your parents, but the friendship of your parents as well as you grow up, because as hard as it may be to see now for some of you who are 18, or younger even, they will become your allies later on in life if you don't reject their help now. |
