Jane, demonstrate how Jimmy Hoffa is laying under that concrete for us, wont you?

Jaine protects this memorable concrete from demolition. No one understands the reason for the stand. The interlock brick is so much nicer. Jaine holds her ground.

"If they only knew they would understand" thinks Janie. "How do tell them that this is the spot that my life was changed. It was brief but unforgettable."

This was the spot of Jaine and Dave Lavery's first meeting.

But sometimes they don’t heed their own commands.

Jainie had been drinking too much eggnog
She stayed up way too late the night before
“I have to repair my broken robot!”
Said she as she stumbled out the door.

When they found her layin’ there next mornin’,
At the tragic scene of the attack,
There were two big tire tracks on her forehead,
Incriminatin’ grease marks on her back.

Jainie got run over by a robot
But which machine should take all of the blame?
Robbe, Bobcats, Aztechs and Miss Daisy
Ferocious were their robots all the same.

Then one day a kid named Dillon Greenberg
Came forth and said his robot wouldn’t slow
Even though he tried his best to stop it
He made a fatal error in his code! (quite literally)

Jainie got run over by a robot
Walkin’ from the pits back to the stands
You can say that robots never rampage,
But sometimes they don’t heed their own commands.

[not an entry]Okay, show's over, folks, nothing to see here, Janie "The Ringer" swept in and won her own friggin' contest. Who knew there was a karaoke competition? Take a bow, ma'am (or curtsy, whatever you prefer). We're not worthy.[/not an entry]

This exhibit by Julian Beever (http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm) was displayed at a high school robotics competition in Atlanta. Chalk on pavement, 2006.

No matter how hard she tries, Jaine can't get the concrete to feel like Leonardo DiCaprio, nor get the opressive Philly heat to feel like the cool Artic air....

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #98

A rare photo was released of a secret ritual, believed to be an annual event celebrated in the Spring, dedicated to the ancient mystic Ka'amen. Little is known about the sect, but it is believed they are a small offshoot of a robotics competition.

Scholars know little about the 2nd Century holy man Ka'amen, who was believed to be a great-grandson of Mary Magdelene. The photo shows a recreation of a Medieval illuminated manuscript found in a ruined monastary in what is now Lebanon, which is the only known surviving page of Ka'amen's writings. There is much speculation about the significance of the spread-eagle position on the ground, and of the colorful garments worn during the ceremony.

In addition to being a mystic, Ka'amen also created several unique devices, including an ingenious ox cart which balanced on two wheels. Researchers say Leonardo DaVinci spent several years studying the drawings and writings of Ka'amen. Some believe Leonardo copied portions of the manuscripts, and then destroyed them.

Jaine does a bridge imitation. So far, two robots and a car have fallen for it.

This is a CNN News Exclusive! This picture was taken in the afternoon of Arpil 29th, 2006 at the Georgia Dome, in Atlanta, Georgia. Apparently Jaine Perotti was waiting in que with her team on the Galileo field when the DJ made a terrible error and began playing the "song" "Ice, Ice Baby" by the "artist" Vanilla Ice. Shortly after this picture was taken the ambulance segway showed up and escorted her to a nearby hospital. We are unsure of her condition at this time.
