You go right ahead and prepare yourself by eating a dozen KK's and I'll go right ahead preparing myself by eating a bigger, beefier dozen of Dunkin Donuts, and when I show up (90% sure I'm going so far) we'll see who can eat the most.

Note that by training with larger doughnuts (DD), when smaller ones are eaten (KK) in the competition it's a lot easier to eat a lot more faster.

This logic was proven by me who, while in training for a road bike cycling race in HS, I trained with a Mountain bike who's bearings were kind of askew, and gave me some tension while I peddled.

Sure, I never caught up with the other racers while on my Mountain bike during practice, but when I raced the real race, and switched to the Road bike, I creamed most of the competition because I had an advantage in the strength of my legs and stamina from training in a way that was harder than the actual competition.

I'll do the same with the DD's in the next coming weeks, and when KK time comes around, I'm sure it won't be a problem.

(Unless I get really sick of doughnuts by the time IRI comes around, and never want to eat any again) :ahh:

Hope to see you all there at IRI.

I dont know if you ever knew this before Elgin but i live a block from a dunkin donughts as you can see in the picture below. and i found that dunkin donughts are inferior in every way to Krispie Kremes. they dont expand in your stomach as much witch would actually hurt your training pluss DD's have much less saturated fats and sugar in them. its like using wood instead of jet fuell in your car. And on top of that Im Skinnier than a fire pole. and im as flexible as silly putty i have plenty of room to fill up.

Is it a coincidence that Arefin is wearing the same shirt in this picture, eating KKs, too? Maybe that shirt has special KK powers, or a secret KK storage pocket? :)

A group of us stopped at a Krispy Kreme on our way to PARC (after getting lost in PA) since we don't actually have them in new jersey. We stood there for half an hour investigating the machine that made them and figuring out how to make it better. We also jokingly screamed "syntax error!!" whenever a donut didn't make it through the icing waterfall... We soon grabbed our 3 dozen donuts and some free Krispy Kreme hats and proceeded to the competition. Our drive team wore the Krispy Kreme hats and it didn't take long for people to ask if we were sponsored by Krispy Kreme. Unfortunately, we weren't, but it sounds like a plan :D . Maybe Dunkin Donuts would work better for us joisey folk and our cawfee (i dunno where people come up with those crazy accents. No one from jersey talks like that)

Dave, if you are reading this, please feel free to teach this rookie a lesson. Chuck very often needs to learn the Morrison .... errrr ..... hard way.

this sounds like a good fundraiser.....anyone from cyber blue want to organize it. for a $5-10 donation you get to participate in the KK eating contest and bragging rights for the year. Quickest to eat 6 donuts?

I would be game for that.

Apparently I'm now picking up the reins for Jess and going against Dave, but I'd be game for this as well.

You CANNOT improve the Krispy Kreme machine, through it, and the dough-nuts it produces, you can learn the meaning of life. (Just ask my Dad... ;) )

And anyone who still thinks that they can take the "Best Legs in FIRST" award is a fool. Beleive me, I've tried!

Let me tell you a story...

Our Tech Club used to sell Krispy Kreme donuts during midterms and finals at our school as our main fundraiser. The reason why I say "used to" is due to the fact that all Krispy Kreme's in our area closed down during winter break this year. I had never eaten a Krispy Kreme before Freshman year, but afterwards, I'd wind up eating close to a dozen a day, for four days straight, every midterm and final week... For the National TSA trip two years ago, I wound up eating a whole dozen during the wait for our connection from Charlette to Nashville.

Dunkin' Donuts just don't cut it, and I've been missing my Krispy Kremes. I'd be happy to join any Krispy Kreme Challenge. How I long for those delicious Krispy Kremes...
