Nobody gets 2, until Beatty gets 5.
That's my prediction. ;)

Sadly yes, a large number in fact of our team is seniors. Drive, programmers, most of our build and pit, all leaving, I believe we have 3 juniors, 3 sophomores and a large number of freshmen. At PARC Corey let anyone who wanted to drive drive. At Monty, a few seniors who were leaving next year and haven't drove got to drive our first two rounds at Monty. Beyond those rounds, it was our two freshmen drivers. While those drivers are not finalized, I hope soon they will be. On the other fronts, our freshmen this year are really going to have to step it up. There will be a large, LARGE number of open lead spots next year.

That would be pretty neat, actually, to have two teams be repeat winners in the same year! Especially if it would be Beatty's 5th.

I'll trade a dollar for an international win...any takers? ;)

Their are a lot of amazing teams out there, and it is hard to say who will walk away as winners. In order to be in the running for the title it takes student determination, team cooperation and a few krispy kreames as a between match snack.

I'm sure Team 296 from Montreal, PQ, Canada, would gladly take your dollar, after all they did win the championship this year. ;)

254 (even though they havn't won once) has been Championship/National Finalists twice
25 won in 2000, and were finalists in both 2003 and 2006
175 made it to Einstein in 2003, 2004, and 2005
111 won in 2003, and were finalists in 99 and 2001
469 won in 2003, were finalists in 2004, division finalists in 2001 and 2002, and have a legitimate claim that they should have advanced to the Curie finals (and possibly beyond) this year
And many more

The fact stands right now, that 71 not only is the only team to have won twice

Team 45 was the alliance captain in '99, picking 111 and 84. We lost the National Championship to 176-1-48 in a 3 match round. We were 1 match away from being the first 2-time National Champion... for what it is worth. We've not been back to the final round since. ugh.

Since we've already had one international winner... how about this: when will we have our first non-North American winner?
