Post your REAL desktop

Perhaps in the past there have been topics about what peoples desktops look like and I look through these on other forums and they bore the crud out of me. Frankly I don't care what your icons look like or what your background is, what I want to know is what your work station looks like, if you only work on a laptop post a picture of your lap and the area where you usually work. As for desktop users I want to see the kind of environment you work in, very clean, mirror finish wood/metal desk, monitor has no finger marks, chair is stiff, or very relaxed, papers around you, desk has a few layers of dust on it, your monitor is covered in smudges.
Just post a picture of your workstation.

To start this off I will post a pic of mine.
My desktop
Pretty messy, crumpled up pieces of paper around, dust, monitor smudges, very comfortable reclining chair, also as for the time this pic was taken this is very clean for me, normally cereal bowls and cups would be scattered around my desk.

Please do not use this as a place to post the stats of your computer, of your monitor is fine, but not your comp, please.

But other than that, just remember to please link your images, rather than img tagging them, thank you.

Here's mine That was a while back. Still have that configuration, although not nearly as clean as in that pic.

My desk I seem a little scatterbrained for a girl who's locker wins the award for most sanitary in our high school. Have to have my green tea and supply of junk food/candy. You could see some pop rocks at the bottom right corner. Haha. And the uber old dry-erase board at the back that my cousin's use to outrank each other. It's a little messy but it's intimate and comfy. Nice place to work.

Glad I've never been to your house, Morgan.

As of right now:

Yes, I have a jubilee of pens. You never know when you gonna run into that scary guy at work.

Yay for portableness :) "My Desk" is normally my lap, or my bed but only my bed if I'm on Skype. (by the way, the other set of legs in the picture are those of Adam Richards )

Here's mine... at least while I'm home for the summer. In Kingston (where I go to school) I've got significantly more desk space.

The desktop:
IBM PIII 866 Mhz (with an 80 GB hard drive, 512 mb of RAM and two monitors) -- it runs SUSE Linux

The laptop:
Apple iBook G4 12" 1.2 GHz (with a 30 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM)
-- it runs OS X

The miscellaneous:

Spindle of DVDs
Fax machine (it's mom's, when I'm away she uses this room as an office)
HP Printer
Speakers
KVM switch hooked up to one of the two monitors (so I can plugin a laptop or another computer and switch displays easily)
External DVD burner
Laptop bag
Monkey (haven't you always wanted a monkey?)
Queen's Computing jacket :-)

As for Joe Matt: the FIRST sticker is nice. Is that what you meant?

My messy desktop:

From Left: IBM Thinkpad, mousepad, 2 OLD (I did capitalize bold did I not, you wouldn't want them trust me) laptops. Background: wood wall paneling, magazines, notes, magic cards (hidden behind thinkpad). All of this on what is described as a card playing table made into a desk. I love it.

Here's mine.

It usually looks like this...but sometimes it gets a little messier with papers and food.

(I know the desktop looks empty...but once you press start almost both screens get filled up.)

A very similar thing used to happen to me, so one day I spend about an hour organizing every program into categories, and sub categories, even some had groups within sub categories. It is very clean now, wish I could say the same about my room. As for my desktop I have no shortcuts, I just feel they get in the way.
Thank you everyone so far for posting your desktop pics!

Heh, my desktop (computer) has 0 icons and the start bar auto-hides on the left. I love the start configuration, instead of the bar getting too full of programs to see whats what, I can open, by my calculations, about 34 windows, and still take in what they all are at a glance. The auto-hide is to increase my viewable area, and I like a clean looking desktop screen.
