Most teams emit some magic smoke from time to time. Who's the wise-guyz that came up with magic water?

Thanks for pointing that out. They looked red at first, but you're right, they're pink.[/not an entry]

REF: Stop pointing at the wet carpet and clean this up, even if the cursed drain is under that spot!

Guy in back with white T-shirt: Yay, a wading pool!

REF: Shaddup and help, my feet are getting wet! And these Nike's are brand new too!

Side Note: My grandfather told me this. In Vietnamese (I think), Nike means "do it", or to do. My grandfather had a Vietnamese boss, and so when he was fed up with the workers for whining about something, he would just yell "NIKE!" End side note.

Group huddled in left of picture: "Look! *pointing* There's water here, and here, and *poke*, *gasp*, it's squishy here!"
Ref: *thinks out loud* "...It's almost like a waterbed..."
Pink team members talking amongst themselves: *sigh* "And they thought that the ramps this year were comfortable..."

"Look, I don't know who the genius is who painted the fire hydrant fluorescent green, but I told you we should have covered it up before we had the first autonomous match!"

As clean-up from this terrible disaster continues, officials are left trying to figure out exactly what went wrong. A distraught and sobbing witness to this horrible calamity, who wished to remain anonymous, had the following to say:

"We kept warning him not to do it, but he wouldn't listen... he just wouldn't listen... we begged him, we said, 'Please don't do it, Big Mike, don't do it! One more bear hug, and Copioli could pop.' But he didn't listen, and he grabbed Paul up and as he lifted him in the air, tightening his mighty arms, there was this loud noise, kind of like a pop, yeah, a pop, and then... then... this! Why??? Why Paul?!! This kind of senseless violence must be stopped!"

Ref in foreground: "I told Billfred to turn off the sprinkler system while the matches were in progress in case a robot malfunctioned. Where is he!?!?!"
Billfred is last seen leaving the building with the sprinkler handle in hand and a evil grin on his face.

For those of you who wondered why the GDC was so adamant about using TWO Pool Noodles for making bumpers, now you know, flotation. It would appear that Dave Lavery can see into the future in addition to his many other talents.

Game announcer at the 2007 Florida Regional Competition “SEA NO LIMITS” (the first FRC game with a water field):

“Attention please, attention please....

In the last match the head referee has DQ the Blue Alliance for severely damaging the field and causing the massive leak with their torpedoes.

There will be a 60 minute delay in competition while the field crew extract the PINK SQUID robot from underneath the rubber membrane when it was caught in the suction of the whirlpool.

As soon as the field is repaired and refilled, the matches will continue.
Thank you. ”

Mike Walker: No no no! You don't follow up a "dry run" test with a "wet run"!
