animato .gif
can anyone tell me how to make an animated .gif file?

Re: animato .gif
Using what program? In the GIMP to make an animated GIF you just add each frame as a new layer and when saving choose as an animated GIF and set a delay between frames. Other programs have different ways of doing things.

Re: animato .gif
I mean like making a 3dsmax file and converting the rendered output to an animated gif

Re: animato .gif
i have used the "Microsoft" gif animator that is abvailable for free download here.
It is very intuitive and user friendly. |
Re: animato .gif
Obviously, you want to use the MNG (Multiple-image Network Graphic) format, instead of the patent-encumbered limited-palette-sized archaic obsolete GIF format. GIF. That's like, so 1990s. ;)
(Actually MNG is not as popular a format as, say, PNG, partly due to a shortage of programs that are capable of encoding it. But my browser has native support!!!!!!!!1 w00t! |
Re: animato .gif
Do you mean turn a full animation into a .gif file? Like the one in my sig? If that is what you mean I can outline the steps for you. Or even do it for you.
Read your other post of course thats what you meant XD. Heres how I did it, save your animation as a AVI file what ever size you want the .gif to be. Download the free demo of Gif Construction Set Pro, do a Google search. In that software there is a convert Movie to GIF option under the FILE menu. There is also a GIF to Movie but I wont get into that. It is as simple as that. See very easy. |
