Flexible shafts working with CIMs

Yesterday, while walking through a hobby works, I bought the flexible shaft Dremel attachment. I was really surprised by how amazingly well it works. It can be bent nearly 360 degrees with very little impairment of shaft rotation. Anyways, I realized how this could be really helpful in some of the applications I had in mind. Does anyone know where I could get one that will couple with a CIM?

Check mcmaster page 1083 and scroll down to Heavy Duty Flexible Drive Shafts

Those would probably work, but they certainly aren't cheap. And you'd have to drill/bore out the coupler to 8mm (which I presume is possible, but I'm not certain).

So after talking with sanddrag this might not work. I need something that can handle the stress but is still cheap. Kind of a contradiction but if anyone knows of anything it would be really helpful.

That was a shaft that could be used with the Seat Motor.

Nope. It was definitely for the seat motor. I believe it has been in the kit on and off since at least 2001.
