Ed,
Did you take him on the roller coaster? Buy him hot dogs and cotton candy and then take him on the Tilt a Whirl till he got sick?

I'm more surprised at how not crowded it is... never see a day like that at Cedar Point (or at least when I go...)

$5 to climb it (a good indication why people don't like Six Flags. You pay like $40 to get in and still have to pay for certain rides).

I don't do Roller Coasters.
That sensation of my internal organs wrapping around my spinal cord is not what I call invigorating.

KoKoEd,
Tilt-A-Whirls aren't bad. They just go round and round and up and down. And then you could have a snow cone - dawgs like snow cones. (but..I don't like roller coasters.....)

I see I'm not the only one here that doesn't like roller coasters. ;)
Even though I'm amazed at some of the designs of them I won't go on them.

Now if you're dog gets bored, you'll have to go back and win a cat! :D

I think it's based on location and individual contracts. I know the Busch parks are all Pepsi along with Cedar Fair, Disney and Paramount are Coke.

As for flat rides, Huss Top Spins and Frisbees are where it's at baby!

A couple years ago I almost blacked out on the Mind Eraser (hanging coaster) at Darien Lake. I held my breath going down the first hill and through the loop, and started getting the twinkly tunnel vision thing. Didnt feel well for the rest of the evening, which made for a great 70mile drive home

Large parks have to "upcharge" for low capacity attractions. Things like go-karts, rock walls and bungee jumps have dismal hourly capacity and, as such, would be subject to hours-long waits very quickly if there was not some additional barrier to participation.
