I was hoping it was updated to be for dodgeball this year at IRI with the 40" balls...

Now...THAT would be something to see!!

NO!!!!! Let's just say that we have had some trial runs with this. It always gets real nasty after some time of play.

I recommend trackball surfing (aka belly sliding) as a less violent alternative. Why should Andy Baker have all the fun?

If I get a chance, I'll try it at Boilermaker. :D

I could imagine that, especially since we've done something like that on our team already.

Responding to boiler, I think I can easily beat you. As long as you don't kick the blasted ball when I'm on it, or take it out from under me.

Re: IRI dodgeball. Whos wants to play?!?!

If anyone has an idea of a game that could be played at IRI on the field with out altering it, let me know and I'll worry about the details of getting it approved and such for IRI.

Some ideas I've had...
  • trackball race, kind of like the egg in the spoon race, except you just roll the ball around, while not losing control (aka hitting the walls)
  • divided dodge ball, field cut in half, no cross court hits, just head on, good dodge ball
I know, they kind of suck and aren't that fun, but give me some suggestions and I will try to get it passed for IRI.

trackball bowling is probably out of the question isn't it... unless we used mentors for pins? :)
