Whoooooooooa, we're halfway there, whoooooo-ooooooa!....er, wait, I think I'm a little too happy that we're halfway done up here.

Normally, the scores would go here. But since it's the first caption contest of the year, there's not exactly any scores.

In essence, each week a picture goes up. Your task is to come up with the funniest and/or most original caption for it. First place gets ten points, second gets five, honorable mentions are worth two, the burn award (for the best zinger of the week) is three, and everyone winds up with a point for giving it a shot.

Just seconds after this picture was taking the announcer was ran over be three robots during autonomous mode. And luckily no robots were harmed!!! :D :D :D

Ok, so these little red flags are giving me a b-i-g clue -

After being shot in the head during the last match, Jeff desides to come out with his hands up to show the 6 robots that he is unarmed, and he begs them not to open fire on him. While he does so he beings to sing Why can't we be friends, Why can't we be friends, Why can't we be friends, Why can't we be friends!!

After the DJ equipment failed at the comp the refs would get on the field between matches and do stand up comedy. This "entertainment" was short lived though. Not only did FIRST have to deal with the broken equipment that day they also wound up postponing most of the matches the rest of the day as they cleaned rotted vegtables out of the playing field carpet. Now you also are aware of the real reason they don't allow you to bring your own food into the venues anymore.
