Who needs a lawn mower? Even the mighty goat bows down to the voracious Michelle and her unquenchable hunger for gargantuan amounts of grass.

At the end-of-the-year banquet when the mentors on her team told the students that during the summer they should take time to smell the roses, Michelle, ever the over-achiever, smelled the roses, the dirt, the lawn, and everything else in the yard.

Don't say I don't love you guys--I've tried to judge this contest in four states now (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York) before finally plunking down the ten bucks and just buying the wifi in the Starbucks at Penn Station. ;)

Oh, and apologies if I'm mildly incoherent--sleep was hard to come by on the train, and I can't check in until noon, so there's nothing to do but pull the old all-nighter. But I might suggest turning on the Today Show this morning. (;) squared.)
