Now, the end of this week is a little screwy with the end of camp, so I'm going to push the deadline back just a smidgeon more to Friday at noon EDT. (I've got the evening off, so I might as well make hay while the sun shines and all.) As always, you can press your luck and try and sneak one in before I judge it.

Go!

Michelle finally figured out a way to grow grass on walls well, excpet for the fact the only place to put this wall was on the way to the bathroom. One too many diet pepsi's, and a dark night, she regreted her mistake.

Loooook into my eyes - look deeeeep into my eyes.
Professor Tree-Lawn-ee has predicted that
*using strange mysterious voice* - 'grass will take on a life of its own, giving rise to confused bugs and new and improved lawn maintenance machines. In the 7th and final hour of a long and muggy day, blades of both grass and machines will form an unlikely but determined alliance against big hairy potted plants and weasley little bushes overtaken by hog warts. The alliance will prevail, grass and machines will triumph'....and *pop* the spell was broken, though the world according to F.P. never quite righted itself again.

Michelle: "Are those ants talking?!"

F.P. focused her left eye yellow laser with skill and prescision. The fire ants hiding in the St.Augustine grass had had the last laugh for too long. The new implant hummed with giddy expectation. Soon...yes VERY soon, those ants would be TOAST! muuuuuwwwaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha!

This week in E's true hollywood story, Michelle Ciello.

In this newly released press photo from Disney's hit movie "Honey I Shrunk The Kids", Michelle is seen as the cut character "Thomson kid #3 who doesn't get shrunk" in the search for the Szalinski's and the Thompson's.

Heard from the director: "We just had too many darn kids on the set, and even though Michelle was a valuable asset, we just didn't need one more. Look for her in the "Honey I Shrunk The Kids: The Ride" at Disney World theme park in Orlando though, as her footage makes the cut there and leaves everyone wondering.. "who is that girl and was she even in the movie?""

After selling the family cow for a handfull of magic grass seed, which her distraught mother throws out the window, Michelle wakes to find a grass stalk. As she starts her journey up the stalk, she prays "Please let there be a golden poof-ball laying goose up here, or at least some fruity pebbles"

Don't say I don't love you guys--I've tried to judge this contest in four states now (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York) before finally plunking down the ten bucks and just buying the wifi in the Starbucks at Penn Station. ;)

Oh, and apologies if I'm mildly incoherent--sleep was hard to come by on the train, and I can't check in until noon, so there's nothing to do but pull the old all-nighter. But I might suggest turning on the Today Show this morning. (;) squared.)

First place goes to:
