I don't see any link (from the Team Summary page?).

I tried checking that we wanted to be mentored, but I didn't see any new menu options appear. Interestingly, the form allows us to check both that we will mentor other teams, and that we want to be mentored by another team. Sort of a circular mentoring scheme.

Maybe it will open up when the database gets built up some more.

Mark,
I believe that mentoring info goes on the website in the section with the map where you can look up teams in your area, events, etc.
The check box was under the main contact/alternate info, but there may be an issue with this that I haven't heard about.

Okay.
The check box is there.
FIRST probably just needs time to add the contact lookup to the production team map. I wonder how they'll protect the contact information over there though? It'll still need a TIMS-like password to keep the spam address collectors at bay.

I do not believe it will go to the map. I think the contact list will just be available through the TIMS. Different than the "willing to mentor" list.

Update:


The Team Mentor contact information that Jenny spoke of is now available from the TIMS main page.

There is a link in the upper right "What's New" box. It then has you select a state and you get a list of main contacts for each team willing to mentor. All contact information is treated as restricted, such as phone numbers and is left off, unless a check box choice has been made in the TIMS contact information section.

A few bugs in their database access key fields, but only Brazil may notice.
