International Talk Like A Pirate Day!
 

Hey all!

This monumental and awesome day is just around the corner! So I was wondering who all plans on adhereing to the holidy? Anyone have any fun stories of past Pirate days?

As far as stories for me, a group of friends and I hoisted the jolly roger from a car, and went "sailing" around, blasting pirate music... It was awesome.

And for those of you that don't know about this amazing day, here 's some info!

Wow... and I didn't think the world could get much weirder! (I just learned about this pirate vs ninja thing on the internet on Sunday, by the conservative parent of a friend. I'm a little behind.)

No pirate stories here... but I can make one right now... ARRRGH Scurvy Florida Gators...

True story -
My boss loves Pirate Day and talks to me in a pirate speak growl most of the day, until his voice gives out.

2 Halloweens ago he asked the staff to have a pirate dress theme. I make a terrible pirate.

A barrrrell of fun could be had with a Pirate's version of Just Shoot Me

Pistols for some
Daggerrrr pistols for otherrrs

Then of course there is the blunderbuss if you want to go overboard.
Added features would be flashes of sworrrrd play mingled with avast, arrrr, take that, and ow - before the scabbarrrds work theirrrr wonder.

The show would be something the whole family would want to sea and could parrrrot and rrrrrepeat the lines and action 'til they were pegged with a, 'if you say that one morrrre time, you will have to walk the plank.'
