[OCCRA]: Shifting????

By the rules we are allowed to use the servo motors. We were wondering if we could use them for the purpose of shifting. By doing this it requires us to drill a hole in the black shifter on the drill motors and we were wondering if it is legal to drill a hole in the black shifter on the DeWalt drill motors??? :)

Answer: The G & K committee added servos to the additional materials list this year they may be used for any appropriate function.

Teams may NOT modify the motor or transmissions but can alter the outside casing of the drill motors. This includes the plastic shift lever.
