I am sorry to be posting this information so late, but I just found out about an interesting radio program being broadcast this afternoon. It may be of interest to many members here: WAMU FM, the public broadcasting station in DC will be doing an interview with Mae Jemison at 12:30 p.m. Mae C. Jemison has blazed a trail across the sciences, as a practicing physician, Peace Corps volunteer, and the first woman of color to travel into space. She joins Kojo Nnamde to discuss her life and career, and the challenge of increasing women's participation in science and technology.

The station broadcasts live online via streaming audio. Log in on www.wamu.org . The program will also be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. this evening.
