It's VA, not Pennsylvania. ;) Heck, all the snow melted yesterday (forming nice fog) in Ohio, let alone VA! Oh, and you don't want snow in RVA, you won't get anywhere, they can't plow and they have no salt!

We can plow pretty good, and we have plenty of salt. In fact, since we havent had any major snow all year V-DOT (the plow people) are just itching to get out and plow. we had something small a week or 2 ago and they just coated everything in sand and salt and then snow barely came, if at all in some places. They do a good job plowing, its just that all the citizens think 3" of snow=armagedon and so they buy all the bread and milk from ukrops which is really annoying. the streets are crowded with cars going to the grocery store not snow :-)

The 3" of snow wasn't the issue, it was the inch of ice on top of it ;)

So I suppose it wont be snowing. Atleast Ukrops will be there to console me. I can't wait to get on the road.
Good luck to everyone there.

Has there been any confirmation of this regional being webcasted?

So...who is excited to see the VCU's first set of Robot Triplets?

Teams 1086, 540, and 384 all seem to have collaborated this year, and I can't wait to see them all in action.

When will a webcast or broadcast schedule of this regional be announced? Has anyone gotten an official word one way or another? :)

my team (3196) will be there at the regional, but we are FVC and will be attending the exhibit and be scouting out the FRC pits.

Re: 2007 VCU Regional

TO EVERYONE THAT WILL BE ATTENDING THE VCU REGIONAL:

In 2004, almost everyone became sick with Norwalk (the norovirus). It was a very unpleasant experience.

The event will be held in a couple of days and there have been many schools in the Richmond area that have already been contaminated with Norwalk this week. It was on the news many times, I just thought I'd warn everyone.

Some people joke about it a lot, I do sometimes; but this is a very serious issue. Wash your hands people. Use hand sanitizer at any opportunity you have.

The past two years have been great without Norwalk, let's make it three years this year.
