Class Credit for FIRST Teams
 

Our team (the UberBots, team 1124) was interested in getting class credits from our school for being a member of our FIRST robotics team. We would have to designate a curriculum for our "studies" in the various fields that we would work with, i.e. engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business skills, art, etc., and get teacher(s)/mentor(s) to teach this. If anyone has ever tried this before or has any suggestions, please let me know. If you currently get class credit for being a member of your team, how much credit do you get? What is your curriculum? Do you have any contact information so you could help us out? Thank you everyone!

I have a free period where all I do is plan for the weeks robotics meetings, send emails, call companies, etc. If you want a list or outline of some of the things I plan and do I can send you that. I dont get credit for it, but they allow me to use 45 minuites a day to do robotics planning/work.
