I am not sure but that looked suspiciously like an alliance selection where every one actually knew what they were doing, I am impressed. Every one at least had a pick list.

Also is it just me or does every one love Where's Waldo?

Does anyone have a list of the alliances? I'm guessing 2056 went with 1114 and 1334 with 854.

Code:

seed        pick1        pick2
2056        1114        176
1334        610        2166
1305        854        1241
1312        296        1141
1846        1503        188
1901        772        1680
1006        379        48
1404        1482        773

It's pretty crazy after going to waterloo, when you read the 2nd-pick list for GTR and realize that they are all very effective robots. 176, 48, 1680 are all SECOND picks. That's crazy.

Nice TV interview on the 48 control system. Clever, naming your ramp deploy switch the "Viagra button".

This regional is intense. Will the alliance #1 be able to win? Or will there be a surprise like at the GLR? We will know soon ;)

I have to give some props to Karthik for that awesome commentary. That was as good as any sports commentator. I hope Discovery continues to cover events with this format. So far, I've loved it.

Great job everybody, I loved watching this broadcast, the Discovery Channel really knows how to do it!

I particularly enjoyed watching the alliance of 1006, 379, and 48. Seeing teams gun up ELITE's ramp brought back chills from the Buckeye regional (291, 48, 379).

As exciting as the matches were, the highlight in my mind has to be 48's interview on their control system, I was behind the lexan with 48 all throughout Buckeye eliminations and I never noticed the "Viagra Button" :ahh: .

Great job to everyone who competed and to everyone who helpd make the regional and broadcast happen!

Is it me or did the webcast just skip the first finals match? The FIRST website has Red winning 126-62.
