yes it did...It kinda caught up a little....it sucks that they skipped it though.

the webcast caught up to the chart...the chart was ahead by a good 7 minutes...you could see who won way before the match was cast.

There needs to be a Canadian Crown or something similar to the Triple Crown for Waterloo and Toronto...

Congratulations to 771 on the regional Chairman's Award. :) A great program, having a great year with the win at Waterloo last week and now this well deserved recognition.

(I am wondering how, during their otherwise excellent webcast, Discovery Channel Canada missed the opportunity to interview some of your team? Maybe I just missed it?)

The party must still be going on -- 771 doesn't have far to drive to get home from Mississauga.

I hope they're partying, because they've earned it! Good luck finding them. :D

Figures, out of all the things we've said over the years in support of FIRST in Canada, the one thing that gets aired on live webcast TV is our "Viagra Button". :p

I only put that on there after the kids nagged me to do it and I finally started to think it was funny. :D By the way, the kid interviewed was our OUTSTANDING driver, Johnny Pasco, who still never ceases to amaze me with his relentless ability to stick to robots like glue. I know he had Greg Phillips from 1114 scared. I wish we could have set up the offense vs. defense matchup I was hoping for. Stupid tread....:o

Congrats to all winners - it was a great event!

I have no idea what caused it - it was a clean, straight rip all the way through. We checked the tension of the treads between each match and it hadn't changed. We were pushed sideways a bit when the offenders fought back a bit in earlier matches - maybe that was the start of it? Oh well, considering other teams' issues with Brecoflex over the years, I like the success we've achieved with them.

i knew the belts were going to fail soon on you guys when i saw your driver try to turn into the bot that was pushng on your side for the entire match, a few matches earlier. When it happened i was not surprised but thought, i shoulda come down and told you. O well stuff happens and the regional was great to see and all. a lot less of a drive then others i knew to get home too.:p ;)
