Students are asking me if they may use epoxy resin in the building of the robot: is it legal?

Answer:
If the Epoxy Resin is being used as a fastener,ie; glue then it is legal. If however you are using the epoxt resin to cast a body panal or fabricate parts then it is illegal.

Rational: Every team does not have access to resin molding equipment. Also, the resin is very dangerous as exposure to the vapors can kill you or cause brain damage if used in areas of improper ventalitation. Fire hazard exists.
