Another rubber match! Must be pretty brutal "D" if no ringers are being scored...

"D" = defense. The teams must really be fighting hard if nobody is able to score...

semifinal 1 match 3

846, 148 and 1750 X 1772, 364 and 57

Score:

20 X 70

Comment:

a near miss to 876 in the auto, many defense, pretty strategy by team 846 putting tubes in the blue home zone a row of 3 and 3 rows of 2 to the red, 2 rows of 2, and one isolated tube (it would be 1 row of 5 and 1 of two, but it was spoiled) and 2 12" to the blue alliance

The blue alliance is the first finalist

An upset by the #4 alliance! Sounds like it's pretty exciting there in Houston!

Was this match a tie?
Edit: 4 to 4, with a keeper scored by Blue! Is there a timeout to repair the robot or have the timeouts already been used?

Re: 2007 Lone Star Regional

I just got a call from my son at the LSR.

He said that a "red card" was issued to Team 16 because they got lifted by a red robot in the red alliance zone. From what he said, team 16's robot was being pinned and defended strongly in the red home zone when they were lifted by a red robot's forklift. That ended up being a penalty on blue. Did team 16 attempt to escape the red home zone, did they drive onto the red robot's lift?
My son wasn't sure that Team 16 deserved a penalty for their actions...

i saw that... but i didn't understood well, i heard the anouncer say something about raming... i don't know if it was fair or don't... but it looked like the 16 bot, tryed to block the lifting, and finished getting liftted too...

a finalist alliance asked the timeout, 2 minutes to the 2nd match
