This brings up an idea. Should there be a mentor only dodgeball free-for-all? Just a thought. I would be interested if this was formulated.

I bet Karthik would be the hardest guy to hit. He so small. wiry and agile no one would come close to hitting him while the rest of us seem hobbled and overwieght.

idk, i was thinking about making that. Also, mentors can be on the team too, not just students!

Besides players we also need refs and an announcer. I'm hoping Steve will announce this and maybe the game refs. Just a thought how it might be easier.

Just a thought. Maybe you could have a free-for-all tournament, in addition to the individual team tournament. Have students sign up saying they want to play. Then you guys organize us into teams, that way were with kids we don't know... This would be great team building, and make the Rochester FIRST group even stronger by building new relationships and meeting new people. Also, this way, people like Alex who don't have a specific team can still play.

Here's the latest:

We arn't going to have another tournament because we don't have the time!!

However, for those who don't have a team....you can ask around. It will be easy if you are alumni, then you can go with your previous team. Because many teams around the area are volunteering, im sure there will be some room especially on team 1511.

I can't wait, its gonna be awesome!!

When one of the new students to the team dodged the robot after hitting the controls by accident with a ball I thought of this: If you can dodge a robot, then you can doge a ball.
