Atlanta at Detroit Vick is starting to become both a RB and a QB, making him even more dangerous. Cincinnati at Baltimore Baltimore's D should be able to hold-up the Bengal's offense. Dallas at Washington The Romo and Totally Overrated connection should take advantage of the Redskins D. Green Bay at Buffalo Green Bay's on a roll. Buffalo could make it a game if they put the ball in McGahee's hands. Houston at N.Y. Giants They benched Carr last week against Tennessee, do they really expect him to bounce back against the Giants D? Kansas City at St. Louis Larry Johnson is running rampant and it could be Huard's last chance to make a great impression (He's been great so far. exception: Pittsburgh). Miami at Chicago 2 blow-out games in a row? New Orleans at Tampa Bay I expect the Saints to bounce back. Tennessee at Jacksonville How can you argue against a QB with a 5-and-1 record as a starter going against one of the bottom-feeder teams of the league? Minnesota at San Francisco Another bounce-back game. Chester Taylor + 49ers Defense = Field Day! Cleveland at San Diego Now with Merriman gone, nothing changes. Chargers still have L.T running circles around, and Michael Turner running over, the opposing defenses. Denver at Pittsburgh Think Big Ben should take a rest? I do. Batch has been phenomenal when he's been under center. Indianapolis at New England Really torn hear. Colts fan living in New England. Despite being a Colts fan, we can't win 'em all. Maroney is a great RB and Belichick always finds a way to beat Indy. Monday Oakland at Seattle Oakland can't score on offense. Their only hope is that their Defense will score and I don't see that happening. |

Atlanta at Detroit HOTlanta by 17 Cincinnati at Baltimore When in doubt, pick the home team. Dallas at Washington Sweet redemption. And Romo's not the answer. Green Bay at Buffalo If Favre keeps this up, he may be around another few years. Houston at N.Y. Giants After Plax piles it on, Tiki torches 'em. Kansas City at St. Louis Final score: 36 - 34 Miami at Chicago This will be either painful to watch or exhilirating; depends on what team you like. New Orleans at Tampa Bay I feel bad for the Bucs, I really do. Tennessee at Jacksonville Gerrard is not the answer. Minnesota at San Francisco Vikes are mad and looking for somebody to pound on. Cleveland at San Diego I'm actually starting to like this Rivers fellow. Denver at Pittsburgh Especially if Roethlisberger gets yanked. Indianapolis at New England This game will be amazing. Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at Seattle This game will not be amazing. Oh, yeah, and Purdue by 17 over Michigan State. Boiler Up!! |
Re: NFL pickens week 9
Atlanta at Detroit
No brainer here... Vick womps.. it's done. Cincinnati at Baltimore Cincy was overrated to open the year... Dallas at Washington Dallas looks pretty good... another solid performance for T.O., could that be two in a row for once? Green Bay at Buffalo Green Bay's run game looks good. Houston at N.Y. Giants Houston is dreadful, anyone can beat them now. Kansas City at St. Louis Larry Johnson is the best RB in the NFL right now. Miami at Chicago I have nothing to say... New Orleans at Tampa Bay And the Saints come marching in. Tennessee at Jacksonville Vince Young is on a roll, GO TITANS!! Minnesota at San Francisco San Fran is still realing from that loss to Chicago. Cleveland at San Diego Again, nothing needed to be said here. Denver at Pittsburgh Denver should bust out Jay Cutler sometime soon, I wanna see him play!!! Indianapolis at New England Tennessee Volunteer Great is gonna wreak havok on New England's defense Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at Seattle Oakland back to their losing ways... |

Atlanta at Detroit I hate Matt Millen Cincinnati at Baltimore Ocho Cinco better play well, and Houshmanzadeh better be ready to catch some balls Dallas at Washington Without Moss Washington's offense will go nowhere Green Bay at Buffalo Favre will play good enough not to lose, and J-Loss will play just bad enough to lose. Houston at N.Y. Giants I can't see Houston winning this game. Kansas City at St. Louis Damon Huard has let me down enough this season, I will take Bulger Miami at Chicago I can't see Joey Harrington ever beating any team from the NFC East especially the good ones. New Orleans at Tampa Bay They won't lose this game, it would completely derail their season Tennessee at Jacksonville Right now I have no idea what J-Ville is doing but, I know the Titans can't play at all. Minnesota at San Francisco Chester Taylor is going to have a file day Cleveland at San Diego The Bolts should win but stranger losses have happen Denver at Pittsburgh Indy is the only team that has dominated Denver Indianapolis at New England Seriously, this is when Brady Shines, and besides Maroney will run all over the weak Indy Front Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at Seattle Seneca Wallace is just good enough to Beat Art Shell and the raiders. |

Atlanta at Detroit i always do Cincinnati at Baltimore me and my dad both Dallas at Washington T.O and T.R Green Bay at Buffalo Favre is awesome Houston at N.Y. Giants I love both teams but eli is awesome Kansas City at St. Louis revenge for the tigers Miami at Chicago i wasnt going to go with the upset this week but joey ball game will do good in his loss New Orleans at Tampa Bay brees+colston=superbowl Tennessee at Jacksonville who cares but im no fan of young Minnesota at San Francisco i want SF to win but i have to go with the team that will Cleveland at San Diego hmmm i wonder Denver at Pittsburgh Pitt is sucking it up this year Indianapolis at New England man this is tough but i am going to have to go with peyton Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at Seattle oakland is on a roll..and seattle is rolling down a hill |

ATLANTA at Detroit Is this a sick joke? CINNCINATI at Baltimore This is going to be a very interesting game. Chad Johnson is going to draw a lot of attention leaving T.J. open.. DALLAS at Washington Throw to T.O. and good things usually happen. Washington isn't too hot this year either. GREEN BAY at Buffalo I think this game is gonna be decided by 10 points or less. Houston at N.Y. GIANTS Houston has absolutely no chance. Kansas City at ST. LOUIS Greatest show on turf. Miami at CHICAGO lol New Orleans at TAMPA BAY Maybe this is just wishful thinking. New Orleans looked dead last week. Tennessee at JACKSONVILLE Tennessee has showed me nothing this year. MINNESOTA at San Francisco I really hope Alex Smith can start picking his game up. But it isn't happenning tomorrow. Cleveland at SAN DIEGO (LT+Rivers)>Cleveland DENVER at Pittsburgh Pittsburgh is a huge dissapointment this year. INDIANAPOLIS at New England This game is going to be ridiculously close. Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at SEATTLE The TV ratings for this game are going to be horrible. I feel that this weekend has just been strong teams vs. really bad tams with exceptions being the Ravens game and the NE game. |

Atlanta at Detroit Wait...Michael Vick is a QB? Cincinnati at Baltimore No doubt...the Bengals have stumbled since that NE game Dallas at Washington Good move Tuna, I see Dallas as a playoff contender Green Bay at Buffalo Sorry Alex, but GB is just gonna get overpowered by Buffalo...Hell they almost beat NE Houston at N.Y. Giants The Giants are clicking on 6/8 cylinders...which is good enough to beat the Texans Kansas City at St. Louis LET's GO LJ!! Miami at Chicago Da' Bears could probably not even show up to the stadium and still come out with a win. Miami needs work, BIG time. New Orleans at Tampa Bay I'm once again on the N-O bandwagon! Tennessee at Jacksonville Jacksonville looks pretty contendable. Minnesota at San Francisco Brad Johnson wants to prove himself after being embarrased monday night. Cleveland at San Diego Let's GO LT!! Denver at Pittsburgh Toss in your terrible towel now, this load of laundrys all done. Indianapolis at New England Read below Monday, Nov. 6 Oakland at Seattle The stunned Pittsburgh last weekend, coming to Seattle with some momentum is a good thing. PLUS Seattle's still w/out Matt Hasselbeck, and Sean Alexander is out too. I think Oakland *might* break .500 this season, not bad. On a side note, I'd like to debate the whole New England/Indianapolis game this sunday. Being a devoted NE sports fan, I'm a tad biased in my opinions, but please let me lay out some facts for you. Regular season games head 2 head. (courtesy of ESPN.com) Nov 7, 2005 - IND 40, @ NE 21, Jan 16, 2005 - IND 3, @ NE 20, Sep 9, 2004 - IND 24, @ NE 27, Jan 18, 2004 - IND 14, @ NE 24, Nov 30, 2003 - NE 38, @ IND 34 Oct 21, 2001 - NE 38, @ IND 17, Sep 30, 2001 - IND 13, @ NE 44 In this data, Indy is 1/7 in games since Peyton and Brady started playing against each other. Let's not forget the Patriots are UNBEATEN by the colts in the post-season. The data doesn't lie folks, as history has clearly shown, Peyton chokes when he comes to Foxboro. While Peyton has an unbelievable passing game, the Patriots have always been a menace to the Colts with their defense. As we get into the season and see the real depth of the team, we start to see the Pat's secondary start to improve dramatically, while the O-line and Linebackers are impecible. On the flip side, the Colts O-line is in need of improvement, while their secondary gets most of the defenses' credit. After last weeks' game, and allowing Dominic Rhodes to score that many touchdowns, expect to see Manning's reciever's under blanket all day; undoubtly Mr. Bellichick has "stressed" this this week. With the Colt's struggling O-line, expect to see the Pats try and pound the ball in with plenty of carries by Corey Dillon, and Laurence Maroney. We probably should also mention Brady and his arm has started to find his recievers. I'm guessing the games gonna come down to defense, and who can control the pass. Let the war begin lol... |

I forgot to highlight my pick for the game of the week. My explanation gives my pick, but I just want to be clear.

Re: NFL pickens week 9
Atlanta at Detroit
The new Micheal Vick gets to practice his newfound passing prowess on the Lions weak pass defense. Cincinnati at Baltimore Looks like Cincy has fallen back to their mediocre ways already. Dallas at Washington The Cowboys seem to be over their drama addiction and are finally starting to play football. Green Bay at Buffalo If the Bills can't make a top notch effort at home comming off a bye against an NFL weak sister then the seasonis lost. Houston at N.Y. Giants The Giants should have this one in the bag by halftime. Kansas City at St. Louis The Rams are still trying to get over what LT did to them and now have to deal with LJ. Miami at Chicago THe Bears final pre season game will be a nice tune up before they start playing the real meat of their schedule. New Orleans at Tampa Bay Tampa seems to be playing better and I suspect New Orelans is going through some growing pains, Tennessee at Jacksonville Jacksonville is too stout on defense to allow Vince Young any leway. Minnesota at San Francisco The Vikings will bounce back easily. Cleveland at San Diego The Chargers get to destroy another hapless foe. Denver at Pittsburgh I don't think even Batch can save them (did I just actually say that?) Indianapolis at New England The Colts inability to stop the run will be their undoing. Monday Nighter Oakland at Seattle Oakland on national TV twice. Who did this? There should be a law... |
