I highly doubt that this is going to be a FIRST related visit, I would put money on this being a talk about the water machine or new segway. If FIRST gets mentioned it will only probably be 1 sentance.

Agreed.
Itll all be about the Segway, and for the most part, Colbert mocking it. Reguardless, Colbert is always funny, so it'll be a good show.

One of the interesting things about the Colbert Report is to see how much he tries to actually back each guest into a corner. Usually when he has a politician or member of the media, he will do everything he can to get them to become flustered or say something they don't mean. However, when Ned Lamont, the challenger to Lieberman for the Connecticut Senate seat was on the program, Colbert didn't try to hardball him at all. In fact, it almost seemed as if the questions Colbert were asking were softballs.

I wonder how Colbert feels about the advancement of science and technology in America. I predict he will ridicule the Segway, but then I bet he will back off and let Dean get out his message.

So what if Steve Colbert is using this opportunity to announce his sponsorship of a new FIRST team - similar to his sponsorship of a youth hockey team. How 'bout that for an awesome sponsor?

My prediction is that it's going to be on the new Segway golf caddy that was announced today (?) Will be intersting to see which way Colbert chooses to spin it. And how Dean reacts.

I think you're right on both counts.

It would be fun to see Dean pour some nasty liquid into the top of the water machine, wait a few minutes while Colbert yacks about how nerdy the Segway is and blah blah, then take a drink of the machine's output and challenge Colbert to do the same! :D
