[OCCRA]: County Championship Question
 

We have a question about the ally selection for the County Championship. If a lower ranking team (Say, us, in 11th place) is picked by a higher ranking team, are we allowed to decline? If so, are there penalties/disincentives?

As stated in the OCCRA Handbook the top 6 seeded teams may NOT select each other. They must select from the teams ranked 7 to ??????. If a team is selected and they decline the selection... say seeded team #3 selects the team ranked #8 and 8 declines, then team #8 is OUT of the competition.

In other words declining a selection should be based upon your robot is broken and you cannot compete. You cannot accept another invitation.
