C programming question
 

Hi i am a new programmer and i have been fooling around programming some basic stuff for DOS...is there a way/code to program so that when i run the code on DOS it will run a file or another program

So what im confused what is the code to open say command prompt then set it on a timer to open say a few seconds later....because that thing confused me some....
