PHP Forum Script

Hello, does anyone know where I can get a good PHP script for a forum/message board. (Doesn't have to be free)

Here are some that you may want to look into:

phpBB - Free
SMF - Free
Invision Power Board
vBulletin - This is what CD uses

A few more good forum softwares :confused: are;
YaBB
Snitz
XMB
Burning Boards

Those are just a few, though i think YaBB is not PHP based it is still pretty good. A good site to look at though is Big Boards they have listing of most all big forum software free and commercial. They even have them categorized by their base language (PHP, Perl, etc...)

phpbb and SMF are probably the two most widely used forum software productions. I favor SMF because I find it easier to maintain and administrate than phpbb and others, but it too has its downsides.

Even though there are lots of options, I highly recommend phpBB. I've installed it a few times already and as long as you keep up with the versions (security updates, patches) it's great and rock solid. Very fast in speed & processing and the mySQL integration goes along very well. :cool:
