VEX doesn't shut off after 2 min

It shuts off just not after 2 minutes, sometimes it's like 4, sometimes it's later than that. Will this be a problem at the compeition or will the robots somehow be activated/deactivated. I assume they will be because say for auto mode, you have to turn your transmitter to make it work and I'm pretty sure everyone can't switch their transmitters on at the same time. I may have misread something or missed something in the rules so in that case sorry.

There is a system that enables and disables the robots at the competitions. It plugs into your tether port.

If you're using the competition template, it should be shutting off after 274 seconds. You'll notice that the template is written to allow for a 20 second autonomous mode and a 254 second drive control mode.

They cut the power to the robots that shut them off at the end of the match
