Re: Dave Lavery has his own award
That's awesome.
I always thought he should have an award named after him. Sweet stuff. =D Go Dave! |
Re: Dave Lavery has his own award
Congratulations...
...now the question I think we all want to ask is, does the award look like a Krispy Kreme  ? ...honestly, these are the important questions I've learnt to ask in college :p . |
Re: Dave Lavery has his own award
It is appropriate that this award should be named for Dave.

Anyways congrats Dave. |
Re: Dave Lavery has his own award
I actually have Dave Miller, the recipient of the award, as a professor this semester in college. He is visiting for a semester, since he usually teaches at The University of Oklahoma. He is a really awesome professor who is extremely willing to go out of his way to help us. If we don't know how to do something, Dave will point us in the right direction to figure it out and guide us along the process. The work he has done with Botball is extremely cool also, and he has developed that program into an excellent way to get students excited about robotics and artificial intelligence.
So congratulations to both Dave Lavery for having such an exciting award named after him, and to Dave Miller, for receiving it and doing so much to push young minds to think about robotics! |
