I participated in the Robotics Academy program at Ames this past summer, so feel free to post here or PM me if you have any questions.

Alex,

You get paid. It's a summer internship for recently graduated HS students/college students. Go ahead and apply!

I also did it at Goddard in 2005 -- I can answer questions as well.

How competitive is it to get in? will 50,000 students apply and only 50 get in?

even if it is that way, it is still worth applying to.

It's competitive, but not that extreme. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I want to say it was somewhere in the 10-15% range. Definitely worth applying.

Is it a program focused for Undergrad studetns? Or graduate students as well?

Also, where is the link for the application?

Thanks

The program is for undergrads and grad students. At Ames last summer, most of the team leads were grads, and everyone else was undergrad.

Does this program go on every year? NASA is definatly something I might look into doing for a carrier.
