A lot of the post is there ..view source and see if you're seeing it all. If not, then it's a browser issue and I can't do much about that. I'm using FireFox 2.0 and only can see a small bit of it, even though there is more in the html source.

A bit of a nitpick, but the new message popup after giving rep says something like "You're reputation has been added. Remember:They're just dots." It really should be Your, as You're means You are, and "You are reputation has been added" doesn't make any sense.

Eek, that's what I get for editing stuff when I'm tired. I'm usually the guy who pokes fun at people who do that.

"Your going to the store?"
"My what?"

Re: Discovered Upgrade Issues

Hmmm anyone else having issues with the time being off? I've set my time to Eastern (GMT -5), yet at the bottom of each page it says "All times are GMT -4. The time now is [one hour later than it should be]" and the time on the portal is off by an hour too ("You last visited here. 12-18-2006 - 12:38 PM" when it was really 11:38 PM).

It seems this only happens with EST ... when I set the time to CST (GMT -6) it works fine.

EDIT: I played around with the rest of the times and here's what I found ...

GMT -12 shows up as GMT -11
GMT -11 shows up as GMT -10
GMT -10 shows up as GMT -9
GMT -9 shows up as GMT -8
GMT -8 shows up as GMT -8
GMT -7 shows up as GMT -6
GMT -6 shows up as GMT -6
GMT -5 shows up as GMT -4
GMT -4 shows up as GMT -3
GMT -3:30 shows up as GMT -2.5
GMT -3 shows up as GMT -2
GMT -2 shows up as GMT -1
GMT -1 shows up as GMT +0
GMT shows up as GMT +1
GMT +1 shows up as GMT +2
GMT +2 shows up as GMT +3
GMT +3 shows up as GMT +4
GMT +3:30 shows up as GMT +4.5
GMT +4 shows up as GMT +5
GMT +4:30 shows up as GMT +5.5
GMT +5 shows up as GMT +6
GMT +5:30 shows up as GMT +6.5
GMT +6 shows up as GMT +7
GMT +7 shows up as GMT +8
GMT +8 shows up as GMT +9
GMT +9 shows up as GMT +10
GMT +9:30 shows up as GMT +10.5
GMT +10 shows up as GMT +11
GMT +11 shows up as GMT +12
GMT +12 shows up as GMT +13

Weird .. try playing with the DST (Daylight Savings Time) options, too.

It displays the right time stamp with "DST corrections always off", only ... not with "Automatically Detect" or "Always On".

I like the new message that you get when you get reputation! Also, the mark all forums read button was a bit hard to find, but it was still very useful!

I just noticed the spell check is missing. Did I miss something in my old age? (or did someone mention this already?)

Already mentioned, it may or may not come back. Firefox 2.0 has built in spell check.

Al, you and I are of an age that can recall writing before spell check.

I think Brandon has mentioned earlier that the upgrade eliminated spell check; something to do with it being a feature of certain popular browsers.

I just noticed a new quirk.
When I post my signature appears normally (see post #101).
When I edit my post the "Attending events" at the bottom gets cut off.

I am NOT whining mind you...

P.S. edit (ignore that first "attending" that one's self generated.)

P.P.S. It got better and reappeared after a refresh.

Check the settings of your browser, as this sounds like a browser issue. If you're using Firefox, go to View > Text Size > Normal and that should bring your text size back to normal. Or you can just hit [Ctrl]+[+] or [Ctrl]+[-] to adjust the font size manually. ;)

Re: Discovered Upgrade Issues

It might just be me, but there are still problems with CD-Events. Some of the events never seem to "load". The issue seems to only apply to certain events, including 2 of the 3 I plan to attend.

I know there was some discussion of this before and it wasn't working at all for a while. It looks like it got partly fixed so I figure these events maybe just didn't get whatever the fix was applied. If it makes any difference I'm running IE 6 on XP

The list pf non-working events at the moment seems to be:
Philadelphia Regional
West Michigan Regional
Israel Regional
San Diego Regional
Chesapeake Regional
San Jose Regional
Detroit Regional
Greater Kansas City Regional
Bayou Regional
Great Lakes Regional
Los Angeles Regional
New Jersey Regional
Manchester Kickoff

Chris
