The 200px automagic cutoff still works just fine for me with Firefox 2.0. I just added ten new lines of just periods to my signature to purposely make it way over the 200px limit, and FF2 still chopped off everything after 200px as it should. (I've since changed it back.)

I assume this process uses the CSS max-height property, so any browser that does not properly support this feature, like IE6, will ignore it and display the entire signature. (This is also how I can usually tell who still uses Internet Explorer here, as they'll make long signatures that get cutoff in "real browsers". :p)

I just gave someone rep for a post, and as I was editing my text, I noticed the text box doing strange things: When the text entered is longer than fits in the box, the text will not scroll. (You CAN force it to scroll by highlighting text, by typing text, or by "mousing over" any of the controls on the form.) But if you simply use the left or right cursor key, then when the caret gets to the edge of the text box -- when the text should start scrolling -- the caret just jumps back about 16 characters.

Wow, that's weird. I've reproduced it on IE.

I'm on the road right now -- hopefully I'll get a chance to look at that when I get back home. (probably Monday-ish)

Not sure if this should go here but...

Was crusing around and noticed this:

and traced it back to this:

Any thoughts? Is it just a one-time glitch?

Is there something wrong with Gary Dillard? I'm with Brandon, I've switched back and forth between tabs in Firefox and can't find anything wrong. And I'm pretty good at those games in the newspaper where you have to find the differences.

Yeah... On my MacBookPro (10.4.9), I don't see the problem, but on this cheesy old iBook (10.3.9), I can replicate it every time.

Oh well.

EDIT: Just tried the page on windows mobile 5 (what im on now), and it displays correctly. It's just that one browser.
