I liked the Reputation PM feature; would it be easy to put that back in?

Fixed.

No, thats why it's not there yet. That's part of the things I've mentioned a few times in this thread that I'm fixing Saturday.

I think I remember there being a link to "Edit Avatar" in the quick links drop-down, and I am missing it quite a bit :D

Unless there never was one... in which case, I'm going insane.

The "Increase Size"/"Decrease Size" links are gone from the reply page. (The ones that used to make it taller.) Since this can be changed, could it also become a per-user setting, applied by default to every reply?

Is it also possible to widen the reply window to fill the width of the page? It's always annoying typing in a box 1/12 the size of the screen.

Tristan,

Those features are still there, although they are no longer text links. To increase the size of the post box, click on the button at the top right area of the post box. To decrease the size, click on the button.

EDIT
I tested my idea out that editing the post marks the portal as new, so that might be it. Now if there was a way to see what post was edited (without an invasion of privacy, or other touchy thing) Maybe a way to signify a major (adding something like this) vs minor (spelling) edit?

Same problem here.

The portal should be following the same 'read/unread' scheme as the forum listings and search page(s) now.

I haven't added a 'mark all read' button on the portal yet.
I haven't added the PM reply and given/received things to the reputation area yet, either.

These two things will happen tomorrow, most likely.

Brandon, i don't know if i have been blind for the past week or if it was just added in. Though the grey box on the portal that says "you last visited here at xx:xx on yy/yy/yyyy" which is at the post break from when you visted last is a great thing. Let's us see the "true" new posts since the last visit. Two thumbs up for that.

This button on the portal will mark all forums read. If anybody with any kind of graphic arts skills and free time wants to clean up the edges on that guy (or make a whole new one altogether) send me a PM or e-mail with the new one and I'll put it up.

Ok, you can now reply to reputation.

Regarding the "mark all forums read" button, can it be set up so that if you click on it from the portal, it returns you to the portal, and not to the forum index?

Can we get the mousover tooltip on threads on the new posts page to contain more characters like it did before? Currently, I don't get enough of the first post to decide whether it is worth clicking or not.

Not easily, so for now there's an extra click. I have to mimic what the real function does (or request a Hook to be put into the code).

On the portal or the search results page (or both)?

Well, I don't think we ever had it on the portal page (but it would be nice), so I suppose I was just referring to cranking up the number of characters displayed on the mouseovers on the new posts or search results page.
