Maybe the team wanted to go and see local attractions. Philadelphia is well known for the beginning history of the Untied States.

We are coming from Cali only west coast team so we wanted to do some touring.


Edit: We are from Lancaster, California not PA so we have come around 3000 miles.

Team 399 hails all the way from Cali. For travel time, it makes the most sense to go over a day or two early. At least this way they have a) time to recouperate from jet lag b) time to get all their parts reassembled (especially ones that the LA airport wouldn't let them bring) and c) give them a chance to acclimate to the Philadelphia environment. =)

University City Hotel eh? I know someone that's staying there... I have to say, it's going to be heaven not having to commute an hour each way for this regional. (I had to for NJ/NYC...it wore me out like what.) so now I can leave everything I have on the field.

Unless I'm mistaken It doesn't look like Philly will be archived in the gloriousness of the webcast...anyone know the reason this is the case?

Judging by this post, it looks like 578 will record Philly for archiving. As far as webcasts go, Philly hasn't been webcasted that I can remember. Maybe if we can get 177 Bobcats to come back next year (if it doesn't fill up too fast like this year) they might webcast it.

571 is leaving in just a few hours! With the teams attending I bet this will be one of the loudest regionals in the country - Paragon can't wait! :D
