Looks very interesting. What was your motivation behind this design? Any application you're looking to use it in?

Also, have you put power to it yet? How well does it turn?

I agree they are 100% compliant with <R5>. But maybe not with <R3>.

Will they stay on when your robot gets bumped? If not then they might be considered an intentionally detached component or an unnecessary risk of entanglement.

crazy design. tank treads, VEX chain, and a gear. what DID inspire you to create something like this? did it really run? based on what I see it works, but hitting an obstacle the wheel would be lost.

basically i was inspired while looking at the tread of the tire off the wheel. then I just did it.
