FLL explanation video

At the Wisconsin FLL State Tournament they showed a video explaining all the tasks for this years game. Does anybody know where I could find it?

I would like to use it to help recruit new FLL members.

Sorry if this isn't the correct place to put this.
Thanks.

This link should provide you with all the videos you are looking for. Good luck.

If for whatever reason you need an MPEG version of those (e.g. if you're trying to make a recruitment DVD) I ran them through a Flash Video to MPEG converter a while ago and can upload those somewhere if you'd like. I don't recall the name of the converter software.

The LEGO animation for this year's movie was made by a couple students on FRC Team #1519, led by Brian Jennings and John Kirkhart. You should be able to contact them both directly via email. They can be contacted directly via email as follows: Brian via gmail to "briansaccount" and John via yahoo to "jtk1089".

The current year's movie is not yet online, as it was being intentionally held from posting until after most of the state tournaments have taken place.

In prior years, the movie was made by Skye Sweeney and I. Past years movies (the "Dr. Justin Case" movies) can be found online at Skye's web page -- http://fll-freak.com/

For some other movies of Lego robots doing their thing, you may want to take a look at the following links. I have found that a "tournament highlights" video is also a good thing to show some of what FLL is all about:

http://mindstormsmayhem.org/team-videos.asp
http://mindstormsmayhem.org/videos-other.asp

The new FIRST web site ( http://www.usfirst.org/what/fll/default.aspx?id=390 )also has a clickable link in the upper right of the page for a video showing "What is FIRST LEGO League". That video is an excerpt from a ZOOM show that provided a great overview of FLL. A DVD-quality version of the entire show can be found on a DVD that was sent out to all teams that registered for FLL this year. If you talk to a local FLL coach, you may be able to borrow a copy of that DVD -- it would be an excellent recruiting resource.

Best Wishes!
