Re: Does your team have a website

If your trying to take down CD or anything, that wount happen. However, It appears that pyrobots.net is your teams website. I think you should change it so you have a nice homepage with an about us, pics, videos, etc pages and then a link to the forums, instead of the going directly to the forums. Just my 2 cents.

Re: 1396 website

I'd recommend moving that to like http://forums.pyrobots.net and putting a page about the team as the main page. Even something simple like http://www.blarglefish.com/oldsite, just something to let people know about your team.

Re: 1396 website

If a sponsor gives your team money or contributions, you should thank them on a page on your website. If they are large sponsor and donate thousands (or possibly tens of thousands) of dollars to your team annually, a great way to thank them would be to put links/logos on your homepage or on a page header/footer. ;)

(However, you should technically ask all companies before putting their logo on your website, even if they sponsor you. Many corporate "branding" ideologies prevent you from putting their logo on a certain colored background, or cropping/resizing their logo certain ways, etc. as they want to have positive corporate branding.)

It's still a nice way to thank them. Many sponsors even look at providing sponsorship to teams as a direct investment, their money is returned in advertising and (hopefully) down the road engineers.

They may not but it's still nice to thank the people that help you out. Even if they don't need the money, all companies need good publicity and sponsoring a local team is good for a company's image.
