Hi, too lazy to read the whole thread.

Boron is the 5th Element. The comp will therefor be very slow and BORing, as in more of a strategy game than an action game like last years. The diamond plate attests to the incredible heat and pressures involved in this game, heat and pressures found in a Generation II star, such as our sun. The sun is in space, obviously symbolized by the nebulous blue background. THUS, the 2007 FRC game will take place IN THE SUN!!!!!! The only option now is to destroy the sun before it's too late.

My Guess: There will be a resonating SMACK as we all bring our hands to our foreheads when the game is actually revealed. It will be extremely obvious once we know the answer :p .

I just read most of these 27 pages of propositions and I think the most feasable idea is that there may be more than one based on the file name and countdown-type look about it. We'll just wait and see...:rolleyes:

Maybe the 5 is totally irrelevant to the game or even only represents a boundary of the rules that stretches as far as an irrelevant rule like how many judges need to be on the field to judge

for some reason all of this hint stuff isnt getting to me. i survived this entire day without even realizing it was out untill now.

maybe the hints lack of hintyness is because FIRST is behind, struggling to prepare the game, and kick off. bahahah

The clue just isnt doing anything for me. It has to be more complecated than what I see, but it just isnt interesting me much. I just see a 5 on a diamond plated aluminium, but there must be a deeper meaning.

Has anyone considered the game, Five Alive?: Players must protect their five lives by either not bringing the point total over twenty-one or by not running out of cards. If a player cannot play a card, he or she loses a life (letter in ALIVE) Last one in wins. Hmmm...

I'm not sure if this has been suggested already or not, but if you turn the "5" on its side (90 degrees clockwise) it looks suspiciously like a basketball hoop kind of scoring apparatus. Maybe that's too far out of the box, but who knows?
