Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #129
The fella in the red shirt just figured out that "skimoose" can be rearranged to spell "so eskimo" and "I so smoke"; "Art Dutra," while very close to being a palindrome, can be anagrammed into "da rat rut." Obviously he thinks this is funnier than it actually is, but hey, it's been a long day.

Art (thinking): This would be so much more gratifying if my mom hadn't been the one to give me the award.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #129
Unbeknownst to the crowd, Art's evil twin Artud, gleefully receives the award, while Art sits - bound in duct tape and zip ties - in a nearby janitor's closet...:D

Art gets an ovation for his perfect example of a student in the pits and their explanation of why they are protecting their hat instead of their eyes.

Just curious, do the scores ever reset. Do they reset every year, every X number of contests, or do they just continue on forever? </not an entry> |

(obviously not an entry)
The scores reset after a year, which historically happens in mid-July. It reset after contest #52, then #104. Next is #156. |

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #129
The comedy duo of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong long since split up, Art Dutra III and John "The Thing" V-Neun decide to try to recreate their success with a series of stand up routines, albums, and movies based on the weird and rather hazardous FRC culture. Here we see Art after inhaling far too much "magic smoke" trying to escape Marshall Dave "Destructinator" Lavery in the TV spot for their upcoming film "Soldering Fumes"

A combination of work and personal things has forced me to invoke the Billfred Is Working Way Too Much Rule. I'll judge this one (and post #130) tomorrow. |
