2002- ball
2003-square
2004- ball
2005- triangle
2006-ball
2007- Circle
2008-- ? ball?
2009--? Square?

First, please use the search feature located at the top of the forums. There are plenty of topics that have the same theory that you are proposing.

Second off to your topic title question:

Nope. FIRST is just out of ideas or something.

Trying to find a pattern to FIRST Robotics games is alot like a witty metaphor for something that is impossible to find.

We know that there is a 'pattern' in the game pieces. This is not a new concept.
