The Anything Quiz 2 is taking a break for the regional competition season. He will be returning with all new questions on April 1, 2007.

Good luck!

They did amazingly! They won the Chairman's award at FLR. The Robot needed some work at FLR but finished seeded 5th at Boston, where they won the Spirit award! Atlanta Bound!!!

My team placed 33 out of 35 at the Finger Lakes Regional. WE won the imagery award for our Alice in Wonderland theme. The team did not get picked by any alliances, but we all had a great time, and were glad that our team could make it.

My team won the Rookie All-Star and the Highest rookie seed at BAE in NH. We made it to the quarter finals there after placing mid 20s (I think?)

We won the Website award at UTC in CT, and seeded 14th (I think?)

Yay!

Team 932 Leviathan finished 11th after qualifying and ended up becoming the #8 alliance at the Inaugural Greater Kansas City Regional. Our robot Leviathan had some issues with the bearing that knocked us out. But we won the Engineering Inspiration Award so now we are going to ATL!!!

We got 6th at Florida. We were 22nd I think at Palmetto. So over all I would say we did well.

I don't think it matters who wins the championship, every team is a good team. In the end, we all come out winners due to the experiences that we get at the championship. So, I think it will be us, the students who will win the championship. :)

I have no clue who will win the Championship. I hope all of the teams that my friends are on do good. Personally, I would love to see the teams from the Fingerlakes regional do really well.

What was your favorite aspect of the Championship Event?

Hiteak 17-04-2007 09:23

Re: The "Anything" Quiz 2

Just being there was my favorite part. I was invited by team 1511 to join them there. I made tons of new friends and got to meet some for the first time in person. The web hug had to be my favorite overall part of the Championship event and getting to hang out with people i haven't seen in awhile.

Re: The "Anything" Quiz 2

Well...since I watched it on the web only - my favorite part is seeing the robots in action and the total craziness in the stands and knowing that no matter where the teams are from, they are all willing to work together! I love watching the awards ceremony and hearing of the great successes and knowing that for every winner there was so many almosts. And I love how fired up yet exhausted the students come back home (I guess that applies to the mentors too.)
