Idea to elevate robot.

Our team will be using a system like this to raise the robot that sits on our platform.

Jacks are cool, but how are you going to do it? If the jacks are part of the robot, then they will be touching the ground for a grand total of 0" lift, regardless of how high the wheels are. Or are you proposing a deployable jack system for your alliance-mates?

We are plnning to have other robots drive on us, then the air jacks will push our robot further into the air, and the robot on top of us will be over 12 inches off the ground.

Seems a bit over engineered. You are adding an entire air system (which remember has mass), plus your only raising it up so much. How do you know the robot will be in the right place for you to lift it? Also what if it were to roll off? That would suck. :ahh:

All we got is a ramp, at 20 deg, going 4" up. Easy. Remember:
