Camera Boards
2 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know how to use the new board as far as using servos on the new board?? We do know how to take pictures and do basic operation, but as far as the new board this year goes we do not know how to use the servos with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks p.s we attached some pictures of the new and old boards. |
Re: Camera Boards
You would connect the servos to the appropriate PWM outputs on the RC and code them. Or you could use Kevin Watson's camera code--it outputs the pwm signal for the servos on PWM01 and 02, I think.

Re: Camera Boards
well they took out the 2 pwm pins on the camera board this year
so youll have to run 2 more pwm wires from your RC up to your camera this year. yeah Im kinda disappointed too. |
Re: Camera Boards
Is there there a way to send Kevin's code's pwm values form the RC to the camera? I would be nice to not have to wire those to the RC if the camera is placed far.

I havent looked at the board but there is a spot where pins should be if I recall. Maybe you can use those. I havent looked at them yet so dont quote me and I also dont know the legality of doing that. |
Re: Camera Boards
All the soldier points are there but there are no pins :(

On second thought, I'll have my team submit a question on this, as I'm curious now myself and I'm concerned that it may come up when inspecting other robots. |
