inventor liscences
 

how many liscences are we supposed to get for inventor this year? this is weird because we are downloading inventor this year. i heard that we get 10 liscences this year, which is really sweet. is this true? has anyone downloaded and installed this years inventor yet?

You do get 10 licenses for Inventor, as well as (I believe) 5 for 3ds max. To get them, have your main contact with FIRST register on http://firstbase.autodesk.com using the same e-mail address, and they will be designated as the administrator who is allowed to assign those download rights to anyone who registers accounts on the site.

Our team created accounts for each of the computers (SWHS 1, etc.) in our robotics room, and then gave IT the passwords to get the installations done. We used two spare licenses and gave them to the CADD team leaders so they could work from home as well.

so the team contact can just set who is allowed to download the programs, he doesnt have to download them himself? that is interesting. i will be sure to talk to our team contact, thank you.
